1. Who we are
“SwiftStudio”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to the developer of the SwiftStudio Education Hub (“App”). Contact: support@swiftstudio.com.
2. Data stored on your device
The App uses platform key-value storage (e.g., SharedPreferences) to keep your learning progress locally on your device:
- Progress: completed lesson IDs, star counts, daily streak, recent lessons, bookmarks.
- Session: optional user ID, name, and email—only to keep you signed in.
- UX flags: Kid Mode on/off, large text preference.
This information never leaves your device unless you choose to share it (e.g., by emailing support).
3. Data we do not collect
- No analytics SDKs.
- No advertising SDKs or ad tracking.
- No background data transmissions.
4. Kid Mode & parental gate
When Kid Mode is enabled, opening external links (e.g., this page, Terms, or contacting support) may require solving a simple math prompt (a “parental gate”) to help prevent accidental navigation.
5. Your controls (export / reset)
- Export: In the App, “Export my local learning data” copies a concise JSON of your progress to your clipboard.
- Reset: “Clear local learning data” wipes stars, streak, bookmarks, and recents from your device.
- Account deletion: If you want us to delete any messages/files you sent to support, email support@swiftstudio.com with your request.
6. Security
Local data is stored using standard OS facilities. For extra protection, secure your device with a passcode/biometrics and do not share your screen or clipboard contents.
7. External links
The App may open external websites or your email app. Those services are governed by their own policies. Review them before use.
8. Children’s privacy
The App is suitable for general audiences and provides Kid Mode to support supervised learning. Caregivers should review and configure settings on the device. We do not collect personal information from children.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy to reflect product or legal changes. The “Last updated” date shows when changes take effect.
